Wi–Fi calling allows you to make phone calls and send text messages over wireless internet networks rather than over the 4G or 5G mobile signal that you normally use that's generated by mobile phone masts.

How you activate this is actually completely network dependent since they all have different policies

If you are billed by Vodafone direct, you can activate this yourself by simply texting the word CALLING to 97888

EE, O2 and Ice mobile customers will need to call us on 0333 202 5000 or email us on [email protected] and ask us to activate this for you.

Once Ice comms have activated it for you, you will need to go in to the settings on your handset and activate it on the device.

Depending on what model handset you are using, the steps will be slightly different, however a rough guide for an iPhone and a Samsung are below.
