When Ice are porting your telephone number over to be on the VoIP platform please ensure you provide us with the registered postcode to where the number is registered to for the emergency services. This information can be obtained from your current provider to prevent any delays with incorrect registered addresses.
If we have been supplied the correct details, the porting process takes roughly 10 working days from the date of it being accepted from your old provider. This is all done via our comms portal and no contact is made with the old provider. This process can take longer due to several things, such as if you have provided incorrect details for the number. In which we will then proceed to log an Pre-order validation which is a form you will need to sign. Ice has zero contact with the losing provider and cannot close down the account with them.
